Wireless Portable
I need a wireless router for my new Toshiba A-500 portable computer?
My internet provider is Orange and I am using one of their supplied routers (Gigaset) for my existing computer. Do I have to exchange it for a wireless one / will they supply me with a wireless router/ or will I have to buy it?
It’s worth taking the chance and asking them; it doesn’t hurt to ask. Sometimes the providers will supply their customer with their own wireless router and sometimes not. Our provider was one of the ones who don’t, so we had to pick up a new router when we moved. Not sure if you’ve checked around online for various router makes and models, but we found our last one at Wirelessnetworkhq.com It’s a Linksys brand and it’s treated us pretty good – works fine.
