When Its
Should My A/C Compressor Be On WHen Its Not Even Being Used?

I have a 1996 Chevy Blazer.. When i dont have the a/c on i noticed the compressor still kicks in when using the heat..Just wondering if this is normal

It is normal. Whenever your controls are on defrost the compressor will cycle even in winter. This is done to keep the seals from drying up or becoming non functional.
