Violin Concerto
A good violin concerto in the standard repertoire?

Does anyone know of a good violin concerto in the standard repertoire that is about amus level? I am getting a program together for a university audition.

I’d suggest you look into Bruch’s 1st concerto. It’s fairly standard for young violinists, as well as a beautiful Romantic work. Also, Mozart’s last three concertos are very common audition pieces.
