Is this a good beginner trumpet (link)?

I want to start playing trumpet, but I know nothing about them. I always have problems with ebay, I would like to know if I am always what I want. I'm only a beginner trumpet. When I saw I was not sure if trumpets were usually gold or silver (I do not want an unusual color) and is the end part (the part where the sound comes out) look a little small for you? Please tell me what you think. http://cgi.ebay.ca/TRUMPET-NEW-2009-pro- … Thanks in advance! Linz-or in this case, which is better? http://cgi.ebay.ca/Atlantis-Student-Trum …

Each of these brands are made up on ebay all pure crap. Things like Celico, Amatti, Monique, Silicko, etc., all names that look smart and sound alike are good brands. They're all Chinese imports, and are hardly worth their weight. Cheap, in this case the same crap. Same with First Act. Do not waste your money at Wal Mart to buy their trumpet shaped piece of metal that is a waste of shelf space. Get a good used trumpet. Here is a good student model Yamaha or Bach, the They used to set back too much. Getzen, Selmer, Besson, Conn, Benge, Kanstul and B & S are some decent brands I can think of off the top of my Head. You could even pro models, like a Bach Strad, used for a few hundred dollars, and if you keep it in good shape it will hold its value quite well. Check Check local classifieds like Craigslist. local music stores sell a lot of time the instruments used (or if your budget allows, to obtain a new one). You can even ask local teachers if they know or someone that sells them. Try local colleges and music stores for names. And avoid brands. If you are unsure , please send me a message and I can help you give a verdict on which tools are good and what junk.
