Trombone Slide Oil Substitute

Is it okay to use slide trumpet valve oil for my trombone?

I tried Vaseline on my trombone slide for lubricating oil, but that has not worked well, and I wonder if I could just borrow a friend trumpet valve oil to replace my use of trombone slide lube? Is this a good idea, or will it completely destroy the device?

Trumpet valve oil is lubricating a very fine substitute to a trombone slide. It is not the Equipment damage, has no building can be removed very easily and actually works quite well (by wiping with a soft cloth). The recommended Product for trombone slides known as a cream (I do not know any brand) and works better than oil, so if you are serious are my trombone a pot that should (Ask at a music shop, they will hook you), but in the meantime, yeah, trumpet your best second is oil.
