Drum Triggering and what is good?
I’m in the process of trying out new ways to record drums. I recently discovered Joe Sturgis and I was intrigued at his setup.
I own Apptrigga2 which is alright but I want to actually switch over to triggers and use a more advanced software.
I’m using Pro Tools 8 M-powered and this is what I want to know. What is the best triggering software/RTAS/VST pluggin to use with ddrum triggers?
P.S. What are some packages that deliver great samples to use with triggering?

A great program to use with pro tools is Drumagog!
I use it myself for real-time triggering, as well as for replacement during mixdown.
For live triggering with the DDrum triggers, in case you wanted to use them live, the Alesis DM5 is an excellent trigger brain that won’t break your bank. It’s great for tracking as well!
