Which SP(s) should I drop at this point?
I only have 20 more allowed starts left this season in my roto league. My pitchers are:
Harden
Liriano
Kazmir
Beckett
Volquez
Mussina
At this point Ws are very important to me so I want to keep the players most likely to bring those in. My goal is to cut one or two of these guys and add RPs to keep racking up Ks and hopefully pick up a Save or two. Who should I keep? Who should I cut? The trade deadline has passed so dealing them is not an option.
That is quite the rotation. You should be aware that whomever you drop will most likely be picked up by somebody else as they are all great options. Just because we are nearing the end of a long season I would not place too much confidence in Mussina. Maybe Volquez is also droppable as his team has nothing to play for, But You never know how Beckett will come back, and who knows if Liriano will produce.
