Im about to play some Black Sabbath for a crowd and was wondering what people have used for that vintage sound?
I’m doing mainly paranoid and NIB and some other faster sabbath as well and ive played around with different effects pedals, distortion pedals and different settings on my line6 but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to get That Old sabbath sound.
Its too late to start experimenting. if you’re about to walk on stage right now, just go with what you’ve been rehearsing with.
For future, the best way to get the black sabbath sound is to plug a humbucking guitar into a tube amp and drive the pre-amp significantly. You with not be able to get this sound through pedals or emulators.
