R & P: Favorite radio station in your city?
Mine would have to KEXP 90.3 FM in Seattle. I think it might actually be the best country station in fact in was voted as one of the best. I think its awesome, because they play everything. They call a lot of it is underground rock, hip hop and country, and a large part of it is local. But they also play lesser known Classic Rock, World Music, Jazz, etc. … seriously, you name it and they have played at least once. What You? MQ: name of a band, they played on this station? well beyonf the shadowsd thats your opinion … and I can see why you do not like. They do not play metal. However, if your interested in music from all genres then KEXP is the best.
Q101 (WKQX), Chicago alternative. They play a lot of 90's Alternative: Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Tool, Sublime, Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots, so you have a local / new music program, which I love. I found tons of great bands from him. http://www.q101.com
