Which Guitar Hero/Rock Band controller do you consider to be the best one today?
I’m looking to buy a new guitar for my collection of music games and with the massive amount of guitar hero and rock band games out there today, there are also a wide variety of guitars available now too, making my decision on which guitar I want to buy a somewhat difficult one. Which guitar(s) do you feel are the best and why?
I have used MANY MANY MANY RB/GH Guitars and I would have to say that I feel that the best one right now is the Guitar Hero 5 guitar.
It is a very solid guitar.
It has a strum bar the length of the Rock Band guitars but it has the click when you strum.
Also the strumbar is made of something that makes it harder for your hand to slip.
This is the guitar I have been using since it came out and it is by far my favorite guitar, it has not had any issues since first buying it.
On the other hand, if you don’t like the clicking strumbar then I’d say the Rock Band 2/3 guitar would be best because the guitar is pretty good quality and has a strum bar that doesn’t click. It also has solo buttons that will help during Guitar solos in Rock Band.
EDIT:
I wouldn’t recommend buying a “Wireless Fender Wooden Stratocaster Replica” because it is essentially the same thing as a RB2 Guitar but with a much larger price tag and just a realistic body rather than plastic. The way it plays in game is the same though.
