Broadway Vocal
I need some good books of Broadway vocal music online?
I want to have a book with musical theater music for the female voice. If it is only for one part of a female voice, it should be soprano. I would like it to have classics, such as West Side Story, and new ones, such as Wicked or The Producers. If this is possible I would also like to have one with some music from Avenue Q. I don’t want one score of one musical, but a collection. Thank you for your help.
If I were you I would buy The Singers Musical Theater Anthology, published by Hal Leonard. It has a wide selection of musical theater and is the standard of collections, most voice teachers will use these books. I believe there are five volumes for each voice part (Soprano, Mezzo/Alto, Tenor, Baritone/Bass) , because they are always making newer books with contemporary musical theater pieces.
