Bar Chime

Bar Chime
Gold or Light blue Lace Sensor pickups?

the wiki discription of the two are:
Gold – (5.8k) – Classic ’50s bell-like Stratocaster tone. Favored by guitar legends Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy, Gold Lace Sensors offer a classic ’50s style single-coil sound with glassy bell-like sparkle and chime.

and

Light Blue (8k) – Warm P-90 soap-bar sound with slightly higher output. In the neck position, Light Blue Lace Sensors produce jazz and blues tones. The bridge-position pickup is warm and punchy with raised sustain and scooped mids.
.

im in a soul band so i need the be able to have some strong blues crunchy sounds but i also need some clean sustained sound.

which type would be best?

I had a gold red and blue in a strat a few years ago
it was pretty nice but if you are looking for a more traditional
strat sound lace is not for you. I liked the lace because they’
didn`t sound like everyother strat out there.
Like I said I had three so I would just settle for one .
the red was real sharp
the gold was my middle pu and it was very clean and clear
the blue was my neck pu and would sing and had loads of
character great for soloing .
hope this helps
