How to use a Kirk Hammett Cry Baby Wah Pedal?
I am not sure how to use it, but I am using a 120VAC/18VDC power adapter, and it asks for a 9V AC adapter. I am not sure if that is the problem.
Yes, you’re using an 18V and it needs a 9 volt power supply. Get the right power supply or try using a 9 volt battery to test it. Of course there is always the possibility that you got a defective unit, but it sounds like you’ve got the wrong adapter. You can buy adapters that have multiple settings for various voltages that will work for many applications. I use a Roland multi-effects unit with everything in one, very cool with only one patch cord. Good luck and hope you’re rocking out real soon.
